Little disappointed, I agree with the other review, it's really just the co-author's marketing tool, not a real Michael Gerber E-Myth book, not much of info on RE. Get the original E-Myth book then other better RE books. Don't waste your money on this one.
I have been a real estate investor for 12 years now. I have purchased over 200+ properties and this book was a breathe of fresh air. I highly recommend this book and in fact am working on getting my whole team a copy. The key to the E-myth and especially the E-myth RE investor is about establishing systems. With systems in place, you can measure and track performance, and it is not just how many hours you can work in a day, week, month or year. Systems allow you to leverage your mental brainpower and turn the daily grind of chasing deal after deal into a predicable and reliable business that is not solely dependent on you as the owner. Michael, Than and Paul do an excellent job of helping guide you on that process through this book.
I was expecting so much more or at least some real information for a new investor like me. I feel like all they do on this book is just give you part of the tools and half of the information, so you can go ahead and get the full information when you buy their course. This book is just a marketing tool for them to get more students to their expensive courses. Not cool
Awesome book. I am a very seasoned (and quite successful) real estate investor with over 25 years experience. I picked up quite a few tidbits from Michael Gerber and Than Merrill from reading this book. Would highly recommend to novices and seasoned professional alike.
Read the book before going to the weekend Fortune Builders seminar. Had some good concepts but lacked the real details on how to do it. Felt the book and the 3 day seminar were really to get you excited about there mastery program ($20-50k) for flipping and wholesaling real estate. Probably some better books (and websites) on how to find and rehab houses for profit.
Excellent book, I recommend 100% to all those people whose really are interesting start their own Real Estate Business.
This book is amazing. The whole E-Myth concept is critical to good business. This book is geared toward real estate investors specifically and has so much useful information. Highly recommend this book.
Best book on practical real estate knowledge I've ever read. It wasn't as much a book on real estate as a book on doing the business of real estate
