This was not the guidebook I was hoping for. Poorly written and badly in need of a copyeditor, the focus in each city is on the main tourist attractions everyone already knows about; I don't need to purchase a guidebook to be told to see the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre. The brief chapters on each city give a brief overview of the city's most famous talking points, followed by a review of its ten most well-known tourist destinations. I had hoped for a guide to some lesser-known, out-of-the-way spots so that search continues.
This is a great book that gives you all the details on going to France. My girlfriend and I are thinking about taking a trip there during the summer and we found this to be helpful as a travellers guide once we go visit. This is a must have for any tourist going to France.
I really want to go to France someday because that is my dream place and I felt sad for what happen to Paris now. When I saw this book in the book list I immediately get it because I really love France. I read it with joy because all what it is written here are so exciting. Even it is poorly written I appreciate it because it needs little common sense to it so that it can be understand well.
My hubby and I are traveling to France in a couple of weeks. This book has been tremendously helpful as we plan our trip and I think will be a good resource to have once we are there! Will look for more of these books for other trips!

The author jot down all the important information to make the vacation more relaxing and enjoyable. You will be introduce about France and knowing the locals. It is really important that we must be ready before going into a place. This is a great guide for me. Very recommendable.
