Every day I start my shift as a NP in the emergency department, the first thing I take out of my bag is this book. Essential for a ED provider as it covers pertinent positives and negatives to include in a HPI, a detailed focused physical exam, and even lists common differentials. There are illustrations that come in handy for anatomy purposes and it even gives a layout for a procedure note. The book is organized well and don't think I will ever find another that will compare. Just bought the pediatric book and can't wait to read it!
Amazing,thorough, and easy to read - a must have! I'm an P.A.in the E. R. and this has been my go to. I have tried numerous books and nothing else compares. It has been an essential guide for dictations, certain exams, pertinent positives/negatives for all systems/complaints , anatomy diagrams, and more. A must have!
