This book brilliantly synthesizes the history of the World Trade Center from the time they were conceived in the 1960's to the present when the site is being rebuilt.The work is very generously illustrated with fantastically beautiful and pertinent photographs. The contemporary lay-out is very is very attractive and contributes to a large extent in making this book truly exceptional.The texts are clearly written with the only drawback that some chapters obviously date back a few years, mentioning for instance that it is still too early to consider what will replace the Twin Towers.This momentous book is strongly recommended to all.
Just as described, clean great copy. Used to have an office on the 55th floor so hard to read this book but it is beautiful.Oprah did a program on one of the young women whose laptop was found in the rubble of One World Trade, and when opened years later, she had made a list of things to do before you die. Go skiing more often with your father was the first I believe.Arrived right on time, brilliant job! *****
I loved the book it was awesome and I liked the parts they had there. It was fantastic and awesome.
As sad as it is I have found comfort in learning the journey of the World Trade Center, I pray that this never happens again.
