Buyer beware!!!! I figured this book would show the INTERIORS of the churches, but it is 99% the OUTSIDE of the church. I could care less about that. I wanted to see the interiors, the altars, chapels, etc., etc. A major disappointment. I have no further use for it after having seen it. Glad I got it for a very low price. It will go to the library for their monthly sales.
There wasn't much history included-- bought this because my VERY Catholic grandparents, who were very active in their church (Sacred Heart) came to Detroit in 1905. There was little information about the church in that era and the neighborhoods and people it served. :(
Very disappointed. Expected color photos showing the beauty of the interiors of the historic churches. Cover is misleading. Bought it as a gift that I now can't use.
