Great text. Very useful information easy to follow with lay out and provides a lot of examples and a lot of activities to have you assess your feelings about the chapter before each chapter and afterwards.
This was a GREAT book on the issues of ethics...for any professionals in the field of helping. I rented for a class, and regretfully had to send it back, but a classmate sent it to me electronically. Great book to have in your home office.
I am using this book for my ethics class and really like it, although we don't use it in class a lot but my professor tells us to read the chapter before we come to class on Thursday nights. I like how we have the ability to see if we understand the chapter.
Great introduction and overview of key concepts in ethically driven practice. Nice examples of situations that invite conversation and critical thinking. I must say though, I could make my money back if they're looking for a new editor- typos galore on almost every page! This does not negate the quality of content, just had to get it out there...
Corey does an excellent job of presenting an overwhelming amount of information concisely. Presentation of case studies are helpful and makes you think.
I am really enjoying the text. It has real life case summaries and a commentary by the authors on how they would have handled the situation.
This was helpful because the information is offered online in the class but II found it easier to read the book ad be able to take it take it with me an not be stuck at my desktop.
My wife purchased this for one of her courses in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. And from what she's told me, this text has been very useful and met all her expectations.
