I received a brand new book quickly. I needed this text for theory & it was a good reference. It was pricey for such a short text but i needed it. I swear Watson must've been on a good one to write this book.
This was a revised edition of the Theory of Human Caring by Jean Watson. It was an excellent review and had additional material regarding the theory as she developed it into a science of caring. I used this as one of my reference in a 10 page paper describing the theory of human caring. I was very interested in what she was now relating to this theory as she developed it in 1979 and revised it in 1985 and 2012. I used her theory for the basis of my thesis in the eighties for a MSN.
I bought this book for my theory class and used to write my my paper on the human caring theory.
NICE UPDATE OF THE THEORY WITH GREAT EXPLANATIONS OF THE CURRENT STATUS OF HER THEORY AND UPDATED APPLICATIONS. CURRENT FOR NEW RESEARCH ON CARING. A MUST READ.
Useful as a basis for theory of ethical care of patients. Highly recommend getting this book as a resource for nursing theory.
