I received the book in a timely manner. However, once I actually began to use the book it began falling apart. The pages are pulling away from the spine every time I turn the pages. This is a textbook so I must refer to it often. I take very good care of books, especially textbook rentals, keeping in mind that the next person may appreciate a clean copy. Disappointed.
This book is plagued with downright bias. The fact that this is required reading for a 4th year college course infuriates me. The author frequently places quotes in the text out of context to try to serve his very feeble-minded and well-intentioned, but very very misguided and deceptive views. The substance of the book is lighter than air and I frequently find myself throwing the book down in disgust at some of the nonsense this author comes up with. Honestly, I would rather burn the rag than sell it back. Harsh I know, but this blatant attempt at brainwashing can hardly be considered a textbook, more like a very long academic essay. This is not a good thing.
This is the most opinionated college book I have ever read. I can't believe this is required reading! The book condition was fine, just hate the content!

I cannot review this book since I returned it to the seller, thru no fault of the seller, of course. I got another copy so I returned it. But the book itself is very good and full of real world knowledge.....go ahead and buy it....the seller is easy to work with.
