I have found this book to be an ideal first introduction to students with a limited science background. The sections are well-written and the figures and photos are plentiful and well-explained. I have introduced this book to a number of other colleagues and they too have found it to be a delight to use in our intruectory astronomy class. It is almost exactly the right length for a one semester course.
I got this book for my Astronomy class, this book was as describe by the seller, right edition and everything. Although it was used and it had some marking, it was ok to read. Shipping was ok about 10 days. Everything as promise, no problems.

It was a great textbook for learning about the universe. I grabbed a binder for a few bucks and it became a nice bound textbook. I prefer spiral binding anyways because you don't have to crease the pages.
