Poorly written, basic lack illustrations
This author provides some useful tips tailored for landscape photography. But more than that, he wants you to focus on the aesthetic aspects of landscape photography too. The tips run the gamut from settings to composition to post processing and to seeing. My only issue with the book is the lack of photos to illustrate the various concepts presented. Maybe in the next revision...
I've always wanted to get into photography - unfortunately, my checkbook hasn't allowed for it - and one day I will. In the meantime, I really enjoy reading about different types of photography and the little nuances of getting the best picture you can. This book didn't let me down. With information on why shooting landscape can be difficult, ways to edit your photos and even additional tools you may need when photographing landscapes, this book really has everything you will need to get started or just refresh your skills. I highly recommend this book!
