I am not qualified to comment on the technical aspects of this second edition, but let me tell you what this very generous book looks like to a non-specialist: extensive with 456 pages of instructions and commentary, fascinating with a profile of a fashion designer in all 12 chapters, and absolutely gorgeous with 850 color illustrations.
Love, love, love this book! Worth every penny! The directions are clear and easy to follow. There's plenty of couture tips, and some historical designer stories as well. This is a book that I will be referring to for the rest of my sewing fashion days!
This book is amazing !!!!lots of illustrations and clear instructions , a must have !
