I disagree with the other reviewers. I have taught and done research in the field of Peridontology for the past 30 years. This is the best of the periodontal textbooks. Beautifully written and wonderfully documented. It is a classic.
This advanced book of periodontology and implant dentistry is a great choice for post graduate studying of periodontology and implantology, which is also a good reference for evidence based periodontics.
I would recommend this book not only dentists interested in periodontology, but also to those who would like to learn more about this fiend
I'm not done with this book.My periodontist recommended this book as the very best book written on the subject. While I'm not done with it, I have to presumptively agree.Compared to Carranza and Rose & Mealey, these books are far more thorough. These books cover a wider scope of things, and provide more depth. The illustrations are excellent. As the previous reviewers have written, the index is terrible. There is also some jargon, but it's not as bad as some management books.I'll get back at it after taxes.
Very fast shipping. No problems.
Very good and thorough book on periodontology. I like that the book refers to a lot of studies instead of making it's own conclusions on subjects that has not yet been proved. The negative side is that the book is very heavy to read. Sometimes you just want to be presented the facts. Chapters dealing with treatment planning and treatment of periodontitis is based too much on examples and too little on actual guidelines. But all in all a good book.
As described, nice and new in its box.
Fast delivery.Well presented book
