The layout is the perfect idea to help students study and retain what instruments look like and their uses.I would recommend this book to all students and those who have entered the dental field.My only suggestion to make this book even better is to have the instruments in colour.But otherwise good going!!!!
I ordered this Dental Instrument book for my daughter who is currently in College and studying to become a Dental Assistant.This was a required book for her classes.I love that offers College level books. We have purchased many book from here.I would highly recommend this book for your studies. Well detailed. Brilliantly illustrated and explains clearly.It has everything you will need to know, and fit's the college book requirement.
I am a DATS instructor. This is an excellent book for my students. I have had the other editions of the book. This edition has nicer photos and seems to be more well rounded as far as going through the procedures.I was happy to get this book because I would not have know about the evolve website otherwise. I am happy they finally have a link with the instrument book. It is good my students have all of the study materials to help them out long before they get to the office.I believe this and the website will afford them the opportunity to excel in the dental office.
Very usefull resources to had especially if you have not done dental assisting and / chairside assisting. Basically it is tool used as fresher course in dental instrument set up and sterilization. Would most definietly recommend to mt family and friends

Covers all insturments and tools a dental assistant would be required to know to be prepared to assist the dentist. As a CDA EDDA I have reviewed this book time and again to refresh my memory on procedures I often do not perform. Strongly recommend.
It's just enough information to get you started, the book is set up so easy and properly. DEF would recommend to anyone who's entering the dental field. I've already learned a good amount and I'm starting a job on monday :) get it !
