GUYS LIKE MERCER, PEPITONE, STOT, WHITE AND MUNSON HELPED THE TRANSITION TO THE GOOD TEAMS OF THE MID AND LATE 70'S. I AM NOT A YANKEE FAN BUT I DO REMEMBER THE LEAN YEARS THE YANKEES WENT THRU. TO WATCH MICK PLAY HIS LAST 3 SEASONS WAS PAINFUL. THIS BOOK BROUGHT BACK SOME WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF MY THE TEAM THE INDIANS BATTLE THE YANKS DURING THE LATE 60'S AND EARLY 70'S. IF YOU WERE A YANKEE OR JUST A BASEBALL FAN DURING THESE YEARS, THIS BOOK IS ONE BIG TREAT.
