This book is wonderfully organized. Unlike some other trivia books, this has a variety of formats and things to read. Each section begins with a broad topic (ie. Magic Kingdom) then narrows it down to a more specific item, like ride or experience (ie. Haunted Mansion). It starts with a short sentence or two description of the ride, then question one is multiple choice about it. Question two is a question posed to the reader, but one which you must dig in your memories to determine the answer. (No multiple choice here!) After that, there's some trivia about the topic and maybe a thing to look for (an Imagineer's artistic signature, hidden mickey, or maybe she'll tell you the names of the hitchhiking ghosts.) The book is filled with fascinating facts and questions that will surely entertain the whole family, though it may be challenging for children to figure out many of the answers.
This was a gift for my sister-n-law on Christmas. I didn't get a chance to review all the contents in the book, just bits here and there. But what I did read were things I didn't know. I should have read more! I would get this book for myself. I think I just might!
This is a great book for any Disney junkies. It includes facts and trivia about the present park as well as the history of the park and the company. It's fun to do the trivia and it's a great read. Hardcore Disney fans as well as those who are just looking for a bit of history or fun, will love this book
I am a huge Disney fan and always eager to find out new things about what makes things run. I love to read about back stories and savor all those "aha" moments. The first Disney Trivia book was also awesome.
There are two parts to this book that make it worthwhile. First of all it's filled with trivia questions for just about every ride at Walt Disney World, and secondly it offers a lot of interesting facts.
Was OK - but wasnt quite what I was looking for and I think it was more my fault in not really looking at the book details. I was after a more detailed "cool facts and hidden secrets". But for the scope of Disney, it would have to be a MUCH larger book. I gave it to someone who is going this fall and I hope they get more out of it than I did.
This might be good as a book, but is cumbersome as an e-book. A question is asked, then you have to move to the back of the book to see if you got the right answer, then find where you were. Also, the trivia isn't very good. Much of the trivia is fairly common.
Fun trivia book. Wish they gave more trivia and asked less questions. Also, found some of the questions a little too easy.
