My school provides us the e-book for this textbook. Since I'll be using it throughout my entire MA program, I decided to order the hard copy. Fast deliver, great condition for a used book. I have had no problem comprehending the text. It is sorted out nicely, and addresses all the areas that will be on the national certification exam. I would love it were spiral-bound because it is THICK, but I think it is a great textbook for students who are wanting to be become CMAs.

I obtained this book for my Medical Assisting Class. It had a very quick but thorough chapters on body systems and diseases/conditions related to them. Clinical procedures (such as injections, venipuncture, vital signs) are well written and should supplement class lessons effectively. Even better if you are an MA in California this book covers all necessary things you must know to study for certification by the CCBMA.
Since it is a large book I bought the Kindle version. The only downfall was that it didn't come with an access code for the Pearson online companion site which has videos and extra learning/studying options. The Kindle version is very convenient however and it is exactly the same as the print version of the book.
Even with the snow in Michigan, I will still able to get my brand new book way beyond the expected arrival dates. I will being using Kizzy Kloset again for any future book orders. The price for my book was very at a very reasonable rate.

An outstanding work for introduction to ma classes. This is a well-organized book, with large print and excellent illustrations and photographs. Well worth the money.
