This is a very helpful guide. It doesn't just give some pretty good advice, it also goes into the reasons behind it all and why it matters. The practical information in Chapter 3 was definitely the highlight for me, and I'm already looking forward to lowering my auto insurance rates and spending that money on something else!
Like most people I am fed up with high priced insurance. I have been driving for (lets just say a very long time) - no accidents, no tickets and no reason why they should jack my rate - but they do anyway. It was just by chance I stumbled across Ben Jackson's little book so I figured I would have a look.The first surprise was it was actually enjoyable to read! Jackson tells a good story and is able to entertain while giving great advise. I was totally expecting dry and boring, but quite the opposite.Some of what I read was stuff I knew - but had long forgotten, so great reminders.The real attention getter is - There were more than just a few eye openers. I would never have guessed in a million years that insurance company's could do some of the things they pull and the stuff I learned they do to increase your rates.Good news is Ben Jackson also supplies you with the solutions, and arms you with a full compliment of information.I have to say I am really glad I picked up this book and more than a little PO'd at my insurance company - who's going to get an earful come Monday morning.
I have been fed up with high insurance rates for years. I am a careful driver, a safe driver, but living in the San Francisco Bay Area means that insurance companies just factor in higher rates regardless of who you are or your' driving record. Then, when my son turned seventeen and started driving and I wanted to add him to my insurance I was even more shocked at the quotes I was getting. A friend of mine in a similar situation was listening to me complain at work one day and recommended Ben Jackson's pamphlet on saving money on insurance. The guide has been a salvation. Seriously, after taking the 15 or so minutes to read the guide, I started writing down ideas and strategies and did the follow up Mr. Jackson recommends. By the end of the day I had lowered my monthly insurance rate by $200 a month. Seriously, that is $200 more cash I have in my pocket every month that I can use for important things...like tickets to Oakland A's baseball games and things like that. : ) If you are in the high insurance boat, take a few minutes to read this guide. It is worth it and I highly recommend it.
Ok so we always hear all those crazy commercials on the radio, TV and online and in these tough economic times we need to save every dollar we can. This book is a godsend, it really is. I love the advice, I used it and was able to cut my insurance bill down almost $400 a year. I felt like I needed to review this one because it really gives you the guide on how to do it and it tells you why. This thing pays for itself hundreds of times over. Thank you so much, you have no idea.
