I am very impressed with the style of writing and amount of information included in this 3 volume set. A special note: BE SURE TO SCROLL TO THE END OF EACH BOOK TO GET THE LINK TO THE PDF VERSION! This will have the full resolution photos that you will need to see in larger format. Kindle only provides thumbnail sized photos in the Kindle version. These are impossible to see any detail.I first read volume 1 when it first came out and found it to be very helpful to the beginning or intermediate photography. It will help you with all the basics from types of cameras and lenses, composition, camera settings, and how to find your photographic style or voice. There are helpful hints and tips that I found very useful. At the end of volume 1 there are some assignments designed to get you out and practice what you learn.Volume Two continues with more information designed to help you become a better photographer. There is a section for tripods, cable releases, filters and metering systems. Most of this book is devoted to helping you with using light to enhance your photos and helping you with creative ideas. This book really helps you to hone your own style while trying a variety of techniques. Each of the techniques comes with an assignment to get you to practice what you are learning.Volume Three is all about travel and photography. There are so many helpful hints, tips and suggestions for gear and apps and companies scattered throughout this book. This is worth your while to devour this book to find out from the author (who has traveled far and wide for many years) his experiences and suggestions. This book covers travel insurance, equipment insurance, booking flights, what gear to take, what camera settings to use for various situations, and tips for air travel.
