I have collected over 28 different Twenty-Four Claude Monet's Paintings (Collection) for Kids. I examined 6 of those covers and found that the inside pictures were in the exact same order. At least each picture has a name but no other information. I used kindle from the Microsoft store to look at the pictures, the pictures are in color. Adults would enjoy as well as students
Save your money. If you must buy one of these buy only one of the painter you want to look at. It may seem that there are multiple books of the same painter, but they all have the same pictures. There is no dialogue or descriptions. Just the painting and the title. You'll get more out of a library book and it won't cost you a thing. I got all of mine free through prime for free. It would have been a ripoff had I paid any money.
French Paintings 18th/19th Century :It was a long trudge back to the stairs at the Temporary Exhibition halls, but just past that we found our first Monet which was definitely worth it! As to impressionists he has always been my favorite although his earlier works like "The Luncheon on the Grass" and "Mouth of the Seine at Honfleur" are sharply detailed. Krisy asked "Are you sure the same person painted both?" Yes, dear I replied, now let's see what Renoir has to offer next. And if you want to start at the beginning of our adventure please flip back to da Vinci if you like.
I really like this and all of the other collections from this author. It is simply the paintings with the names and years but that's all you need to start talking with your child (or anyone else) about art. I also enjoy just flipping through to look at the paintings and enjoy the artistry.
Other books by this author with same title, mostly the same photos. Not good on a reader without color--my fault for thinking it might be, but other books have been more user friendly about art (with photos) and the black and white presentation was not a problem.
The was a short, digital-download book with simple lessons on some of Monet's paintings. A great way to teach art appreciation. Even though it's geared toward children, I believe anyone who has little-to-no art knowledge can benefit from it. I downloaded the book for myself and have been pleased with it.
Beautiful Monet pictures that are not the most famous ones so new and exciting plus at the end the famous pond lily painting. I can imagine how much fun this will be to read and point out various things to children.
What a beautiful book, not only for children!I was captivated by the atmosphere of the paintings and could imagine being outside in nature.Even after so many decades these paintings have not aged and are still very relevant.I strongly recommend the book as a coffee table book.
