Frankly, I'm bewildered; Mr. Cesar has multiple listings* of Salvador Dali's eBooks, but the only thing different about them is the cover. In other words, each booklet shows the same works by a particular artist. I don't understand why he produced multiple covers for the same 24 art works.I'm sure Dali created more than 24 works of art; why not mix in some of his less-known works with the most famous? Then each book would be worthy of a separate cover.* I have 6 different covers of Dali's works -- each with the exactly same paintings inside.
I have collected 28 Salvador Dali's Paintings (Collection) for Kids books. I examined 6 of those covers and found that the inside pictures were in the exact same order. At least each picture has a name but no other information. I used kindle from the Microsoft store to look at the pictures, the pictures are in color. Adults would enjoy as well as students.
I have always wonder about the wand massager but hadn't actually tried one before. Until now that is.... I'm not an easy one to please, but this massager comes as an approved product in my book. The paintings, of course, are great. My problem with this e-book is, the pictures are small and I can't enlarge them on my Kindle to see them better. On the plus side, many of my favorites are included in this book.
I liked the collection of paintings offered in this ebook. I wish that the images were higher quality so I could see more detail when I used the zoom feature. Overall, I really enjoyed viewing the paintings in this collection.
This is a collection of 24 Salvador Dali paintings. I am not sure why they are supposedly for kids though. On each page you get the reproduction of the painting and their title. No commentary or history. Nothing about Dali, just the paintings. I am also not sure why these paintings were chosen. Are these considered the essential Dali paintings? If it is intended to be an introduction to classic artwork for children, it would have been nice to include suggested topics of discussion or something like that. As a collection, it is nice but I think I would rather stick with a larger printed picture book or even prints.
Dali's art isn't for everyone. But thanks to Carey Marchand and Ray Taylor of the Fine Art Auctions I have come to understand much of it. Dali is like a mama bird, accumulating stuff she may never use. But for Dali it is all still in his mind and comes to his notice when he is creating art. One might be a background of Dali's favorite hill, anothe an image within an image within an image, and yet another a homage to earlier painters. I was glad to see the melting watch, the last supper and the ghost of Vermeer. The first two as no Dali book collection should be without them and the 3rd because his Don Quixote like figure is looking at the most beautiful of colour scenes. It takes more than 24 paintings to understand Dali but as a first book for children it is perfect. How wrong can you be under a dollar?...shu
As with the other books ,you can see my reviews I chose these books because I am suddenly becoming interested in art. Nothing dramatic really, but just enough to check out books like these and read biographies of the painters. If I lived nearby an art museum I would go but I don't. Anyway, I found this painter to have a sarcastic sense of humor towards life or at least in his paintings. I really enjoyed them. I wish the paintings were bigger.
