I grew up in the town the author writes about. It is an excellent book everyone should read. Her perspective and the childhood she recounts is especially pertinent to our current day.It is heart-warming and inspiring.
Outstanding real Black family stories with a positive tone. A good reminder of the goodness passed on through a Black family.
