The approach this author takes to judging exhibitions is an approach I can use in a wide variety of organizational and community settings. This approach is intuitively logical and easy to grasp. It is elegantly simple and not at all simplistic.
I recieved this book and DVD as part of my Museum Studies Masters degree program. It looks like a wonderful book - but reading it is totally hampered by A LOT of missing text. After each chapter heading - the entire page is blank - with non-existent sentences continuing on the next page. Entire pull quotes are missing - with only the persons name left hanging in a box by itself. It's a shame - not the writer or the subject matters fault this book is only getting 3 stars...Left Coast Press needs to press check thier publications!
It was shipped fast and came in brand new condition. I do not know how fair the price was, as other places and the university did not have in stock and I never knew what the price was at other places. I did not realize till after I ordered that book should include DVD. I was worried, but the book came with the DVD so I was in good shape. Seller could mention the DVD in ad. Overall, a good experience. I was able to get a book I needed quickly and I believe at a fair price.I gave 4 stars because the transaction was fast quick and effective.
