I took this to work for myself and the other nurses I work with. I use it frequently. My co-workers use this book frequently. Even some of the doctors use it. Well worn, and sitting out on the nurses desk, even when I've been off work for a few days, it is safe to say this book was a good investment.
Very quick and easy reference for any ancillary diagnostic or laboratory test. Information is easy to read and to the point. Quick and easy with great explanations. I would recommend this for any nurse or clinician as a vital tool in learning as well as easy to explain to patients.
BEST laboratory reference book. As an RN I used this book for many years. Bought it for my grandson in nursing school. Tells the how's and why's of lab results and diseases and conditions associated with lab results.
I think it's the best lab book out there. Gives you a lot of differentials if you have abnormal blood work and not sure what's going on. Especially if doing a screening lab and you end up with the a very unexpected result.
Good, detailed manual of laboratory and diagnostic tests. However my book did not come with an access code to online material.
Pretty decent for my needs. A nice reference, but can be a bit wordy and overwhelming.
Very informative but a little difficult to navigate quickly.
A little hard to navigate, however, this is the best reference book I've found for lab tests and explaining what the results mean.
