It goes into great detail about everything about lab results. It explains terms one after another and allows you to compare and contrast them.
Easy to use and read, good job of summarizing the different laboratory values and disease states. Nice big font. The chapters are organized and have good flow. I am glad I bought it.
This book is awful. I had to buy it for pharmacy school, otherwise I would not have purchased it.The material is very unorganized. In the first chapter, where the author is supposed to introduce terms and such, she throws in random drug info (useless facts) which do not assist in understanding the information. She uses many words that only a lab person would understand, when clearly pharmacy students and herself do not understand.Too much detail in some areas, not enough in others, and long, drawn-out discussions on specific drugs (in intro chapters) when she should be laying the groundwork for understanding.Overall, a terrible book. Pages are of low quality, completely unorganized...and most importantly, this book has not helped me in understanding lab values to best care for patients.Would give it 0 stars if I could.
