Good book on using whole life as a financing and savings tool to "be your own bank". It gives you plenty of detail around the use of whole life (with paid up additions riders from a mutual, dividend paying company) as a tool to recapture interest you would otherwise pay to lenders. It also give you plenty of insight on different ways to think about money (than I had at least) and has a bit of a political slant toward tea party mentality. It does try to point you to an advisor from their YouBeTheBank web site, which I'd guess they get a cut of, but there is enough detail in the book to get you on the path to be your own "bank".Pros:- Details on the system that other books lack- Good insight on how to think about money differentlyCons:- Not enough real life examples- Tries to get you to use one of their financial advisors
Excellent alternative to the current traditional ways of dealing with money. It is very clear that the current system is a dead-end, designed to keep a person in constant debtThis book shows a ray of hope for financial survival and positive personal financial progress
Great overview of a much better option than our current banks to build your cash reserve ... choosing the right product is absolutely paramount - this requires folks to take back control of their money and truly educate themselves. Reeves helps provide sound containers and context for that education.
excellent! I can't ask for more. it is worth a million! every American should read this book and implement this "own bank" system/process.
