The title is misleading because this book is great for all ages. Some parts were difficult to understand but the author makes a solid attempt to repeat and break down investing by using mini stories and down-to-earth terms. He gives it to you from a "analyze the risks" perspective. He shows what the math looks like (in easy math expressions). I recommend this book if you want to know how minimize risks and be a smart investor

Want to give a gift that will truly keep giving? This book hits the mark. With sound, common-sense advice in relatable language targeted to teens, Michael Zisa walks teens and young adults through the basics of investing for long-term security. Parents: before you hand it over, read it yourself. You'll get plenty out of it too. There aren't many things you can buy on that will pay for themselves thousands of times over. This book will!

I received this as A christmas present and it really has changed my view on a lot of things. My relatives really inspired me to work in the business area so I decided I should start learning early so I will be more prepared in the real world. Its not very long as it only took me two days to finish it. Im not a big reader myself but this book was very entertaining and I never became bored.

This book makes a great Christmas present for the teens and young adults in your life. As a practicing financial advisor, I always wished I had learned these lessons when I was younger. Now there is a great way for you to teach these lessons to your children or other loved ones.

Excellent basics for everyone - at any age! I wish I had had the opportunity to read this book when I was young. I have bought it for all my 20-30 year old grandchildren. Am happy to see it in the kindle edition since I think the print of the paperback was too small.Michael Zisa has made an important contribution to education with this easy-to-read and easy-to-understand book. Should be required reading in all schools. Too many young people have no understanding of money management at all.

I just finished reading this great book! It is a super easy read and Michael takes very difficult concepts and puts them in very simple terms that anyone can understand. Although his main audience is young investors, I found the book very helpful personally (I am 46). I feel far more prepared walking into a meeting with my FA knowing how/why I want to invest in various products. I highly recommend this book regardless of age.

My 14 year old son says he wants to be wealthy when he is older. So I thought I'd buy him this book to get him started. I read it first. It is very easy to understand. It has good tips. I wish I would have had this book when I was his age. I am sure he will enjoy it.

Mike has the unusual ability to take a fairly complex subject (investing) and package it in a way that is simple and fun to learn about. His decades of experience teaching investments courses and running after-school investment clubs for teenagers in Pennsylvania has honed his approach. In this book, Mike has put together a wonderful compilation of not just the "Why" of investing, but also the "How-to". He boils down decades worth of lesson plans and questions from students into one essential summary. I believe this is a timeless, life-long resource that should be read again and again.
