I like all of Perrin's books. This copy seemed to have been obtainedfrom a community library, was for a gift, so had a bit of fun withthe recipient needing to return it to avoid fines :-)

So sorry to see this wonderful series end. I enjoyed his essays 40 years ago in Country Journal magazine and they're just as satisfying today.
