A notch or two above beginner's books. Lorayne writes in his easy to understand style, just like in his card magic books that are primarily published for the magic profession. This edition is at a great price as original copies are selling for $80+! Contains effects with cards, coins, mind reading, magic squares (WOW!), and other items that you could find in your pockets. If you like his style and are interested in more advanced work try Deck-sterity, Personal Secrets, and others. Truly a gifted teacher of magic!
A great book for the beginning magician, and even an intermediate can gain from this book. No doubt that it's geared towards beginners though.Note: A few tricks are outdated, (published ~1970) which allows for the unique opportunity of modification.
