This book starts off explaining how to open an eBay account and list your first item. It then tells you that a great place to source your eBay store is from thrift stores. From there, it goes on to explain which location to shop at and what times not to shop during. From there, it begins to describe the different kinds of items that sell well on eBay and a little bit about ways to determine their worth and what to pay attention to when browsing items at thrift stores to ensure you aren’t wasting valuable money for an item that ultimately will not sell for the money you thought you might have gotten for it. It then goes on to describe pretty much the basics of creating a good description for each item you list. It tells you what is most important and what to focus on the most. It helps you determine how to attract more people with your listings, which, as we all know, is the most important part of getting the money desired for an item you list! Especially if you are starting the price ridiculously low, which I personally am not a fan of (and have not always had the best luck with!) All in all, this is a good book for beginners. It’s not for the expert seller and it definitely doesn’t measure up to its title of learning how to make $10,000 per month selling items. It just tells you what to basically seek out. Personally, I have been selling on eBay for over 10 years now but mostly only with clothing. So, as a result of reading this book (and watching a couple of unrelated YouTube videos), I have found some interesting things to begin looking for when I venture out for a day of shopping. This book is short and worth reading for the ideas you will get but keep in mind you can find this information elsewhere in more detail as well. So read this book first and then build from there.
