This random collection of public domain photographs and snippets taken from memoirs and newspapers does not add up to a worthwhile book. Many if not most of the wartime photographs have been widely published elsewhere. Some of the photographs are still-frames taken from post-war fiction movies like 'Sink the Bismarck' and 'In Harm's Way', and have no historical value whatsoever. There are also multiple random photographs of modern aircraft carriers that have no relevance to big-gun battleships at all.
This book is one of the best I have read on battleships etc. during the 19th century.it goes into great detail about the location and damage that the ships incurred.
