In today's day and age, I feel there is a need for a shift in focus when it comes to education. The concept of 'skilled laborers,' 'tradesmen,' or 'specialists,' have somehow gotten a bad rap in this country. There is no shame in learning a trade and being good at what you do, and you don't need a college degree to do it. I think anyone with children who may not be great at academics, but show aptitude in a skill or trade should read this book. They may save themselves a ton in school debt, and get a jump on their careers.

This book is an essential read for all students, parents, educators, and community members. The Kindle Edition of this book is not formatted well. The Table of Contents as well as the Appendices are rather jumbled. Ended up ordering the paperback as this book was strongly recommended to me and I wanted to be able to read it without all the formatting distractions.
