This is one of the best photography books on the market. I found this in B&N and ordered on with a much better price.Very well organized content with well-explained concepts for the beginners and in-depth topics for the enthusiasts.
This is a great book for aspiring photographer. Very detailed book and beautifully illustrated, This book is very well made in a technical point of view. I also love how every chapter and how orderly it is. I definitely put this one as a collector's item. I ordered last January 8 and it was delivered yesterday. Great book, good customer service! Great book for a beginner or hobbyist. The sections are intuitively written in an approachable manner with full color examples of the topics being discussed. Additionally, the book has several assignments to give you real hands on opportunities to apply the lessons you've learned. I highly recommend this book.
This book was received on time, and in New or like new condition.This book is a pretty good book to learn from. If you follow the lessons and practice the exercises, then you should become a pretty good photographer. Add some experience and you can become an excellent photographer.
I began reading it when my mother brought the book home from our local library. I was so enthused by its layout and lack of professional jargon that I ordered it from as a birthday gift to myself last February. If I had them, I'd give it five thumbs up. :)
Great book that gives you a step by step guide on how to learn photography. It also gives you "homework" after each lesson to help you understand why they are teaching you these things. Gives you first hand experience and not just textbook knowledge.
Contrary to what one reviewer stated,this bk is NOT jumbled up..especially for a novice. I'm definitely not a novice photogragher but got this book anyway as I saw value in it as a reference book. You are ALWAYS learning and ALWAYS picking up something in your skills. This book starts you off getting familiar with a camera ; the inner workings so you can understand how it functions. It moves on to various accessories you will need( tripods,filters,lenses etc) and moves on from there. You can either go one by one thru each chapter or skip around . Also each one of those has a Q & A page to see what you learned in each section. By far I really think this is a very well thought out,easy to understand book..well worth getting,and referencing to if you need to.
Very nicely done book, I love the different sections (including exercises). Explanations are easy to understand.
