I'm in a Family Nurse Practitioner program. This book is very helpful. Easy to follow. It's just so damn thick and heavy! I would have liked it better split into two books so I can just carry around the section I need.
I bought the Kindle version but had to return it because there is no page correlation. You can only search by location so there's no way you can read specific assigned pages for class
Provides basic pharmacotherapy information. Curiously, there are only two lines in the entire text addressing pharmacokinetics (in the elderly), and NO material on pharmacodynamics - a serious deficit. Patient education information is also lacking. I will not continue using this for teaching.
I find this is a good overall text on pharmacology. It is good but I would not call it exceptional.
This is one of th best text books I have had in all my education. The information is clear, concise, easy to read and relevant to the current guidelines.

The book is great! Information is clearly explained. I will be keeping this textbook.However, study guide is mostly case studies and not very helpful for my course.
