It has been 36 years since the first edition of this work appeared, and the page count and number of substances discussed have both increased by an order of magnitude over that interval. This remains an excellent resource for quickly accessing relevant information on drugs and chemicals to which humans are frequently exposed, including the sources of exposure, typical doses, routes of administration, blood concentrations attained during routine or excessive exposure, routes of elimination, biotransformation pathways, toxic effects of acute or chronic exposure, and methods for analytical measurement in biological specimens. The new sections on the latest drugs of abuse and popular dietary supplements were of special interest to this reader.
I don't need to mention about this book because it is like the bible in the forensic toxicology. Must-have-item.It is expensive compare to when buying nationally... But It was touched by the memo from this seller.
