A fairly simple read compared to most of my other nursing school books. Chapters are fairly short, text is readable. Not as many illustrations as I'd probably like but coupled with other class resources, not a bad deal. I'd recommend this book. Obviously, follow your course requirements though.
This book has a lot of GREAT information. It was definitely resourceful. The only thing wrong with it is that there is almost too much info in there for my program, which isn't a bad thing! Needless to say, I was well prepared for my final bedside assessment!
Not exactly sure who to blame for this fiasco, but I rented the kindle version of this book and have assignments to complete prior to class. I used the exact ISBN number given and rented. Yet, this version comes with no access to online tests. Okay, fine, I'll purchase separately which I have no problem with. doesn't offer the access code for the online content for this text at all. If the publisher is bundling an access code that isn't available with the purchase that should be made clear.As far as content, it's fine, although using the search function on the kindle to find something within the text yields not great results most of the time. Since that is a major function I enjoy using with digital editions, it is frustrating and it seems to be specific to this text, as I use it with other texts on kindle and get better results.

I am using this book for my Bachelor's in Nursing and have found inaccuracies. Please correct the tables in chapter 18. This is all I've found so far. Also, why can't I have a back up copy of this book? If I had brought a hard copy, I would have it, so I don't see why to be safe I can't have a back up in the event there is an event where my book is lost.
