I bought this book to provide a photo reference for a model of the Ford GT40 that I will build. It is adequate for that purpose. Overall, this is an excellent, balanced book on the GT40. Highly recommended for fans of the car.
Like the Porsche 917, it is hard to find a book on the Ford GT40 that doesn't repeat itself. This format of how to assemble and repair a Ford GT40 is a novel way of presenting information that is interesting and new. Don't expect any racing history, but if you want to know how the car was built, this book explains most of it.
Great insight into the guts of this exotic machine. Helpful in assembly of my two GT40 Ford kits. I just want one of full size.
Great book with good pics on the construction
It doesn't provide the mechanical information to work on your own car. I wouldn't recommend it for technical assistance, but only as a coffee table story book.
