Steve Harvey's books are an easy read because he seriously writes like he talks. It's fun to read. I don't know anything about Jeremy Dillahunt, except that he wrote this book, but I can appreciate his writing. There's some redundant information, but if you're just browsing the book for specific information this may be beneficial. There's some grammer issues here and there, but they are relatively few and not enough to impact his message. He really does mean to say F* Your Resume with an acknowledgement you definitely still need to keep some form of it even if it's for the bureaucratic recordkeeping.I appreciate Jeremy for doing the following things:-Providing an estimated reading time for each chapter: it makes it easier for me to decide to keep reading or come back to it later.-Summarizing each chapter with action items in a heading called "Get it Done" along with the time it takes to get it done. Love it. Although, I will say these time frames are more on target for those who are familiar with the internet. Those who may be less tech and resource savvy will need more time.-Acknowledging he's not the know-it-all resource. He provides resources at the end of each chapter as well as at the end of the book. The majority of online reads and resources are from 2015 or after which keeps the content up to date.-Explains the pros and cons for using various websites, and why they may not be for everyone.Overall, I agree with Jeremy Dillahunt on many points. For example, your online presence will give you an edge on those who are not online, but only if you're marketing yourself properly. Some people need to stay offline as it'll probably hurt them more. Also, I agree networking should be everyone's priority when looking for a job.
