Interestingly, the final photograph capturing Michael was taken with Richard – snapped by Michael’s father, Kell Hutchence, just two days prior to his untimely death. This is such a touching intimate portrayal of a sensitive, kind man. Michael was an ultimate Rock Star. It's easy to forget how difficult that can be, in real life. My heart will always go out to Michael. Richard did a beautiful job putting this Celebration together.
First couple of pages were glued to each other at the top which I did not like and the clear signature page was folded which I did not like. This was not an problem or the sellers problem but a publisher problem. It is Michael so I am beyond happy. I would like to have a flawless book but I don't know if that will happen so I will just be happy with it.
When I originally ordered the book I wasn't sure if it was going to be any good or not. Well, it's great! A piece of art. A fitting tribute to Michael Hutchence and his family. Worth the money. Trust me. Thank you Richard Simpkin, you did it right. Cheers mate!
Richard has crafted a beautiful book with touching memories & stories of his friend. A must did an INXS fan!
awesome book Richard Simpkin is the best i bought the book and he happened to be visting in Los Angeles i got to hang out with him and talk to him i wish i had more questions i just wasnt prepared to meet such a down to earth buy great coffee table book its big in size and awesome if your Michale fan and inxs fan their music and his voice really helped me through life growing up along with a whole bunch of other types of music i listen too....but he seemed larger then life but humble.
Great intimate (not magazine-style) pictures with insights from Richard Simpkin about the man behind the rock star... Including a unique self-portraite of Michael! We surely remember Michael and love him.
If you're a Michael Hutchence fan this "book" is what you have been waiting for...more than exceeded my expectations...the pictures,the back stories are all exceptional....is more of a coffee table book...
I'm still in Awe over the size and weight of this book, I couldn't be happier with the purchase! I love and Miss Michael Hutchence everyday!
