This book told me more than I ever though existed about white face clowning. I was actually looking for something more in the Robin Williams and Red Skelton tradition,but this expanded my thinking way beyond that. I'm no expert, but I really felt I was in good hands and being led in a good dirtection.
This year I had a regional commercial air in Colorado during the Superbowl. Even though I am dressed in a suit and tie, no makeup or red nose, I am clearly clowning. I will forever be thankful for the techniques and training Simon has outlined in his books! His teachings offer a unique performance style as well as a high level approach to actor training.
