AMAZING BOOK! Very difficult to put down. This is the closest I have ever read to a TRUE and FACTUAL historical account of something that was kept hidden in Texas for years. It is written without shaming the "working girls" and provides an in depth look at "the world's oldest profession" from the early days of rural Texas up until modern day.Take a peek behind the scenes and see what life was really like without the Hollywood glamorization of the infamous Chicken Ranch.
I was at the book signing in La Grange a couple of weeks ago at the library/museum and picked up a copy of Inside The Texas Chicken Ranch.I would like to give you some feedback on the book. I couldn't put it down. It is very much an interesting read and I appreciate how the facts were allowed to be the story. It is obvious it took years to gather the accounts, conduct the interviews, and do the research. Job well done!
