I'm a Paediatric Surgeon practicing in South Africa. Due to shortage of Radiologists and Sonogrpahers we have to learn to use ultrasound for basic purposes e.g. US guided biposies, US guided aspiration of cysts etc. I strongly believe that all clinicians- including Paediatric Surgeons- should learn the basic US techniques- as we all learnt the use of our stethoscopes in medical schools. It is such a useful and non-invasive modality. I find this book very informative, well written and supported by adequate colour illustrations and includes all recent references. It would be a basic book for all Radiologists and Radiology residents, but can (and should) be a available to all the clinicians who treat children and who wish to use US to help in their clinical work. Highly recommended!
This book is very well thought out and organized. The images are top notch. This is known as the gold standard for pediatric sonography books. I would recommend this book to anyone.
