No, I absolutely would not recommend this study guide. It is riddled with errors in the answer keys.These errors could mean the difference between someone passing or failing the RHIA exam.I find it incredibly irresponsible that they exist.
Required to purchase this for review sessions in the HIM bachelors program. We review each chapter question by question and my professors have noticed a large amount of errors. Errors in the answer choices and a ton of errors in the answer key. On professor noticed his entire sections (reviews of courses he taught) were incorrect. They are not going to use this book for future reviews for seniors.
Rented electronic version to revise before taking my RHIT exam in May 2016. NB: electronic edition does not provide access to Cengage's web site, that must be purchased separately. Made flash cards with the review questions. Passed my RHIT.
This book has tons of errors. I have purchased t and started preparing for my RHIT with it, but unfortunately I had to stop, because of so many errors that I have noticed (and what about those that I have not). All of my classmates had the same experience:( Would definitely not recommend it.

Too many errors to be trusted. Even the references are wrong. Very poor study guide for a test that requires a degree to take.
