The book is a easy read with detailed information at a affordable price. Covers the important topics in a non technical understandable way and can immediately be put to practice. It helps you see the world photographically and takes your photography from simple snapshots to frame able photos.
I expected it to talk more about how to use different cameras and what type of lighting is best and what effects help... it was talking about regular cameras and I thought it would work on smart phones too.
I was not impressed. There were about three paragraphs total that I found useful. The rest was like cheerleading: You can take GREAT photos! Yes! You can do it!I don't do a lot of reviews, and I don't have a penchant for criticism. I just don't want anyone else to waste their money.
This book must have been written for professional photographers, because even after reading, I was still confused by some of the terms. A good read though for someone who is more interested and want to take their skills to another level.
This is one of the best books by W.Wyatt that I have read. I always love it when authors, apart from providing reliable info on a given topic, open up a bit and share their personal experiences with their readers. This book really encouraged me to get back to taking photos and documenting this amazing life. I also feel like I should travel more. Looks like this author had been around the globe big time, haha! Overall, an excellent buy!
Inspiring, persuasive and interesting. Technical portions are good for beginners and others. Artistic section is good and the motivational portion is what I need to go out and do it.
This book is helpful to amateur photographers. After reading it my pics have been appreciated. My new nikon is being put to good use. Thank you Mr Wyatt.
Every now and then you come up with a book that actually teaches you something. This book is no aimed for advanced photographers, yet it contains little gems here and there that even they (even us) can incorporate into our daily profession. If you're looking for a quick refresher, this is it. Definitely try it out.
