This book is a very good read. Cracking the Code is a layman's handbook to the mysteries of the explosive Biotech Revolution. The plain-spoken style invites ordinary people such as myself to want to turn the next page. Along with describing medical and technical innovations that could well lead to prolonged human life, the authors spell out how regular folks can ride the wave of financial success that investments in the field will garner. Kind of like Investment 101 for Dummies! Do yourself a favor, and add this book to your reading list.
This is a good and thorough book that provides detailed information on pharmaceutical industry from the perspective of investors. Some of the advice given in the book are already proven to be correct. Yet that is the problem, given the industry is very dynamic, especially with regards to frequent M&A activity, most of the financial info in the book is outdated. Therefore, unless you are looking for detailed introduction into all pharma therapeutic areas and some prophesying into future, you may find the book out of date.
The Authors have written a masterpiece here. It is compelling and very readable. It covers off the basics for non scientists like me but also digs deep into cutting edge trends and analysis. It is essential reading
This was one of the most interesting books I read last year. The authors have done an excellent job researching this tricky subject a repackaging it for an amateur audience. I'm not sure I fully buy in to their bullish optimism but this positive tone makes the book a very pleasant read and difficult to put down.
This is an aye opener. Great.
