It's difficult to write about Terry Richardson's work without thinking about Terry Richardson, the man, and I get it if the guy turns you off and you don't wish to support someone with his reputation. Having said that, Richardson's impact on fashion photography is undeniable, and if you are interested in photography, you will want to own this book. This is a nice collection of Richardson's work, beautifully reproduced, and shows that he has done a lot more than simply giving the world raunchy pictures of a naked Miley Cyrus sporting a strap-on. And, save for a few photographs, such as a bloody tampon, to make sure that you know that this is, after all, a Terry Richardson's book, most of the photos are simply beautiful and not as shockingly in your face as you might imagine. A must have for students of fashion photography.
