I bought this because I needed an atlas that was easy to navigate. Let me just say, that I was not disappointed. This atlas contains some of the most beautiful maps in crisp colors and is easy to read and understand.
This was part of my grandson's college texts. After sampling it, I wanted,a copy for myself. I bought a used book that seems like new. Geography is an overlooked subject. The related economic and social data supplements the great visuals provided. The price was most reasonable.
I needed this for a geography class its a very nice atlas, it has great pictures. National Geographic puts together some very interesting books that you don't mind having to look at or buy for school.
I bought this book for school and found it pretty interesting. The photography in the book really was very nice. I could look at the photos in the book all the time. I have had other wiley books and they are all very good.
"National Geographic College Atlas of the World" serves its purpose. I do not use it much; and I do not have any negative comments. If you need a world atlas, this may be for you--just get your reading glasses out to read the fine print.
To be used this book is great and in good shape, and it is the new version of what I needed for my geography class. I couldn't find it in the book store at school so some of my classmates suggested you. Thanks again.
I bought this for my son's college course, but they never even opened it. I did, to check it out, but found that the binding kept me from seeing the full map on each page. For instance, we were planning a road trip to Tucson from Houston. Tucson was in the binding. I wish I had not bought this for both reasons. I wish I could get my money back. At least it didn't cost that much. Sorry.
I bought this atlas for a class and I really enjoy the world facts in the back of the atlas.
