This is a solid guide for any Utah enthusiast. We are Utah locals, but we bought this to find new places to eat, hike, drive, and explore, and this book did not disappoint. The book does a pretty good job of being thorough. We'd recommend this book for travelers and for locals.
I bought this for a recent trip to Utah, replacing a 2010 edition - a big disappointment. Actually LESS useful information that the previous edition about the Southeast corner of the state. Instead of hotel and restaurant reviews, I found '. . . for full information visit Fodors.com'. Very funny. I will view Fodors books with suspicion from now on. My 2012 Moon Handbook 'Four Corners' had much more useful details. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Planning a Girl Scout trip with 18 teenage girls is always a challenge but this book has helped make that task a little easier! It's very easy to read and being sectioned off by main areas of interest and things to do in the surrounding area is amazing! I love that each chapter includes maps, price ranges, and places to eat, stay and play. One this I wish it had more of was images for some of the places they recommend for visual people like myself. A great tour guide and I can't wait to take with me this summer!
Great guide and a perfect companion for our roadtrip. We visited all of the National Parks and Monuments in Utah and this provided some excellent information on the towns along the way and compelling points of interest that shouldn't be missed.
Wish it would have been more detailed about the different Canyons. Spent almost half the book on Salt Lake City area which I had been too before.
Very useful for planning our trip for the summer of 2017.
