This is a great map for exploring the whole Vermillion Cliffs Area and the Paria. It is excellent quality. However, it is not the best map to use to back pack the Paria. I had already purchased it, and it got us down the canyon, but we ultimately wished that we had bought the map specifically for the Paria at the ranger station at White House, as it has more detail. It is also possible to get the it online from the Dixie strip association.
Map is awesome. There are so many places to hike in this vicinity. We did Buckskin Gulch and some other surrounding terrain.The map is durable and waterproof as stated. If you've used maps from this manufacturer before you know the quality. Don't go into the back country without one.You do have to do some research before heading out and mark where you're going on the map because while many landmarks are on these maps, some are not designated. Some trail heads and hiking routes, while showing topographically, are not designated with a trail head.Overall, love this a resource to get me out of a tight spot.

These National Geographic Maps are great to have for anyone adventuring off the beaten path. Only four stars because this map really needs to be updated around Lake Powell.
