I really like this book as gave scenarios of clinical setting, problems, management,OSHA and every thing in question and answer format. Unfortunately i left in the aircraft flying back to the US from the East and I never got it back. It was invaluable for me . Very detailed and most of them were board questions as well.
I used this book as part of my study before NBDE part II,because a dentist graduated from California recommended it , so it helps, i am studying it again for an interview plus exam that I am going to have soon. I works pretty good.
This is by far one of the best dental books available for exam preparations and quick reviews if one needs to check on a topic. i love the way it is sectioned into the different topics and the questions and answers provided are very useful. I would recommend this book to students and dentists alike.
This book is a decent review for the boards, but isn't in a very helpful format for real-life dentistry. Read through it for boards-prep then resell it.
This is a good quick reference guide. It is useful while you are reviewing for the dental boards but may be a little limited clinically. It points out important topics that you should be aware of during your studies and review.
This is a great book. It has a unique question and answer format that keeps you reading as opposed to traditional textbooks that are quite dry. This format also makes it easy to pick up and learn "high-yield" facts about a specific topic. It's a great resource for review before going into the clinics. This won't be a book that just collects dust on your bookshelf.
Good reference material, thoughtful layout of the contents and easy to understand.
