Authors Mark Karlen and Rob Fleming, have written the fourth edition of an outstanding book that is intended to help intermediate-level interior architecture and design students.Authors Karlen and Fleming, begin by describing the space planning process that begins when the planning problem is presented to you and ends when physical planning commences, usually with bubble diagrams or block plans. In addition, they describe the physical planning process and the development of a floor plan, with all of its broader spatial and design implications. The authors also deal with specific floor plan arrangements, defining a proposed architectural reality.
